March extravaganzas (Baby Dickson week 10)

I recently had the opportunity to attend a concert with some of my most favorite people. We had so much fun! These girls not only love the Lord, they make me laugh, they take care of this sick mama, and they genuinely love people. It is always encouraging to spend time with friends like that :)

The next day (Palm Sunday) we got snow! My husband and I had a great time playing and being snowed in together. It was much unexpected, and was very much appreciated by the Dickson house. 

After playing in the snow we decided to walk to Kroger. This country girl is not in Brookneal anymore! I can not even imagine walking to the grocery store back home! Crazy... but I must say it was quite convenient and actually fun! 

Hope you had a great Palm Sunday. Ours was white, and a great reminder of how Jesus takes our sins and washes them white as snow! 

Jeff's Birthday +Texas Parents come to visit :)

Jeff turned 24! We had a fun day celebrating with friends and family. I love my husband so much and I am so proud of all of his accomplishments. He sure has done ALOT in his 24 years.  The day was filled with decorations, yummy food, and lots of games.

Later that night our Texas parents came down for their spring break. All five of them piled in a car and drove the 23 plus hours to come and stay wtih us. We were honored and so excited to have them spend some time with us in our home. It was a full house, full or people, full of games, full of love! There is never a dull moment with the Dicksons!

A view of Roanoke. We took our family to visit some of our favorite friends in Roanke, and this is their view. :) Then we took a drive up to the star. We had a fun day outside, and the weather was so nice!

Another day we went downtown to see some more fun things. Of course pictures were taken..

We also go to see the Power team preform one night! That was pretty interesting.
