Here is the view as you open the door:
Audrey's changing table. We bought an old dresser and added a changing pad and a basket.
up close picture of the wall décor. The first one says, "No one will know the strength of my love for you, after all you are the only one who knows what my heart sounds like from the inside. The middle one is elephants with cute pink bows. The last one says, my fingers may be small, but
I can still wrap daddy around them. :) I will add her hand prints when we get home from the hospital.
Handmade curtains by my Texas mom, and the glider purchased by my mom. When I sit here reading to or feeding my daughter, it will be so neat to remember all my moms have done for me. I am one lucky girl, and Audrey has some amazing grandparents.
Reading nook, filled with books from sweet friends. There are some of my favorites in there from when I was a baby, some classics, and lots of Karen and Max books.
My sweet friend Michelle bought me this beautiful print when I got married. I never quite found the perfect place for it until now...It has each letter of the alphabet and a verse that starts with that letter that are easy to memorize. One day Audrey will have all of these memorized. I think it is so important to instill not only a love for reading and learning in our daughter, but most importantly a love for Jesus and his word. This beautiful frame will remind us of that daily. Especially as she grows.
A good shot of the mobile. I sure do love that mirror, my glider and those curtains. I think I am most in love with this room in my house!
And our crib skirt.. we still need a mattress and I need to add my bumper.. but overall, the crib is finished. I love how her crib skirt matches the curtains perfectly. So sweet.
Last shot. I am so very pleased.

Week 28, 29, 30
Week 28 at the beach in Panama city
By this week, your baby weighs 2 1/4 pounds (about the size of a large eggplant) and measures 14.8 inches from the top of her head to her heels. She can blink her eyes, which now sport lashes. With her eyesight developing, she may be able to see the light that filters in through your womb. She's also developing billions of neurons in her brain and adding more body fat in preparation for life in the outside world
Week 29 at the beach... still :)
Your baby now weighs about 2 1/2 pounds (about the size of a butternut squash) and is a tad over 15 inches long from head to heel. her muscles and lungs are continuing to mature, and her head is growing bigger to make room for his developing brain. To meet her increasing nutritional demands, you'll need plenty of protein, vitamins C, folic acid, and iron. And because her bones are soaking up lots of calcium, be sure to drink your milk (or find another good source of calcium, such as cheese, yogurt, or enriched orange juice). This trimester, about 250 milligrams of calcium are deposited in your baby's hardening skeleton each day.
Week 30!
Your baby's about 15.7 inches long now and weighs almost 3 pounds (about the size of a large cabbage). A pint and a half of amniotic fluid surrounds her, but that volume will shrink as she gets bigger and takes up more room in your uterus. Her eyesight continues to develop, though it's not very keen; even after she's born, she'll keep her eyes closed for a good part of the day. When she does open them, she'll respond to changes in light but will have 20/400 vision — which means she can only make out objects a few inches from her face.

We had a great afternoon :) I am so glad our day was pretty and that we got to spend it together!
One day we will bring Audrey back here and take a picture with her in my arms :)
