Rainy day activity!

What to do on a rainy day at the beach? Why, have an Olympic game day of course. We were lucky enough to be at the beach while the Olympics were going on. We were able to sit with family and friends and watch the games late at night! One day it rained. When I say it rained, I mean it really rained!

That would be up to my brother’s knees! So it was his bright idea to have a game day, which quickly turned into an Olympic game day since we were all about the competition. We had three teams:

Red, white and blue was only fitting. We made a list of each of the games we wanted to play, we played and gave out points. 15 points for gold, 10 for silver and 5 for third. After all of the games were played we added the scores to see who had first second or third. Obviously the red team won, as it was the team I was on! Haha, but seriously, we had a great time and we really enjoyed playing with everyone in the family.

 Not to mention, before we realized it had stopped raining and we were able to go enjoy another sunny day at the beach!

So, when you have another rainy day and don’t know what to do…simply grab some friends, some games, and enjoy a super fun day inside! Now, I will leave you with a few,(just a few) of my favorite shots from the beach! :)
